We released this in 4/2018 and sell them in person at live events since then. Currently there’s no distribution at record stores or any local shops(as of 5/2020). We hope more people would reach this out on bandcamp.

Before I (Yuji) started Lanes, I would make music under some different names depending on my mood. I hardly did live performance back then. Because 2017 was the last year in my college, I decided to make an ep that i could fully be satisfied with the production, without any help of professional recording engineers or labels, since essentially I was suspicious of things like that.

At first I did not mean to play live either, but some who listened to my soundcloud before the ep was released had me at an event. Since then I have played live with a big help of my band members at different venues in Tokyo.

On live we play few songs from this ep but lots of new songs. We’ll release them when I feel comfortable (yes, comfort is the most prioritized thing to me).

2018年4月に発売し、そこからライブ会場で直接販売をしていました。流通はありません(2020年5月時点)。bandcamp経由でもっと多くの人に音源を聞いていただければと思います。

　Lanesとして始めるまでは、いろんな名義で曲を作ってはやめて、気まぐれに音楽をやっていました。ライブなども殆どやっていませんでした。2017年は学生時代最後の年だったので、それまでの知見を活かして満足できる物を作ろうと思い、このEPの制作がスタートしました。当初はライブをするつもりもなかったのですが、幸にしてEP完成前からsoundcloudの音源を聞いてくれた人たちからイベントに誘われ、急遽知り合いをかき集めてバンド形式で出演しました。それをきっかけに、頻度は高くないもののポツポツと都内のイベントに出演するようになりました。

　ちなみにこの作品の後に未公開の曲が続々とでき、ライブではそちらを中心に演奏しています。このEPの雰囲気からは結構変わっているものも多いですが、どちらも自分で作った曲なので何らかの一貫性はあるような気がしています。。。それは気が向いた頃にまた新しくリリースする予定です。気の長い人だけお願いします。
